Disaster Preparedness in Government Schools
With support from USAID Small Grants and Ambassador’s Fund Program (SGAFP), SKYIANS Welfare Organization (SWO) has launched the five (5) monthsproject titled “Disaster Preparedness in Government Schools” of District Abbottabad Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
SKYIANS Welfare Organization (SWO)’ aims to form and train school based disaster safety teams in 10 Government High Schools and raise awareness among school community to effectively respond during disaster. This project will be implemented in 10 Government Schools (05 boys, 05 girls) of tehsil and district Abbottabad.
USAID/Pakistan has, in cooperation with the USAID Office of Inspector General, established the Anti-Fraud Hotline to provide an avenue for the reporting of fraud, waste, and abuse which may be associated with USAID funded projects in Pakistan. Complaints are handled with complete confidentiality and individuals are encouraged to report when corruption, fraud, waste or abuse may exist in the USAID/Pakistan projects.
